- Evaluate credit applications, analyze commercial credit reports, interact with credit agencies
- Manage an accounts receivable portfolio; initiate collection calls and follow up for payment
- Update system notes with status of all collection activity
- Respond to customers requests for documentation such as invoice copies, statements and account status reports
- Coordinate with external departments and branches
- Perform ongoing credit reviews
- Calculate accounts receivable projections
- Analyze client financial statements
- Assist Credit Manager with special projects as required
- 3+ Years in a commercial credit & collections environment
- Must be proficient in evaluating commercial credit reports
- Must have demonstrated ability to work independently
- Experienced at settings priorities and working under the pressure of meeting multiple deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills
- Must be comfortable resolving conflict situations
- Ability to work under pressure with a professional attitude
- Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and positively in oral and written form
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel
