Italian Trade Union Announces General Strike – Friday, October 30, 2026

The Italian Trade Union has announced a general strike scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, expected to affect businesses across all sectors of the country.

While the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has issued an injunction to postpone the transport strike, the Trade Union has stated that it intends to proceed. 

The level of participation across the country remains uncertain and may vary by region and industry. The disruptions are primarily expected to impact first-mile exports activities and the last-mile imports deliveries.
