BC Port Strike Update
The BC Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) and the union representing thousands of dock workers reached a tentative agreement on Thursday, July 13th signaling an end to the job action that began July 1.

Although this is positive news, significant backlogs have already been caused by the labor action and we expect delays to be felt over the next weeks and possibly months.
As a precaution, Delmar will continue to leverage Emergency Rail Services (ERS) where possible to expedite the movement of containers from the west coast as work resumes within the various terminals.
