CBSA System Delays Affecting Importers, Customs Brokers and All Modes of Transport

Please be advised that the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is currently experiencing delays in processing inbound and outbound messages (e.g., Release Notification System (RNS) and completeness notices) as a result of their system outage which occurred on September 25th, 2025.

This CBSA issue, affecting importers, customs brokers, and all modes of transport, may result in storage charges for some due to delays. These charges will be billed back as per outlay.

CBSA has indicated that updates will only be provided when there is significant new information or once the issue has been fully resolved. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates as they become available.
