IMPORTANT UPDATE - Port of Vancouver "Gridlock"

The continued increase in demand for local drayage services throughout the Lower Mainland of British Columbia is currently at an all-time breaking point.  

The situation is the result of an amalgamation of vessel delays and bunching, an increase in overall volume, port congestion, as well as the challenges local trucking companies are facing in retrieving port reservations (RV) to pick up full import containers and subsequently returning the empty units.  

Delmar and our core suppliers are currently working through the existing backlog requiring local drayage services, and anticipate that the backlog will extend over the next few weeks, at which time we anticipate a return to normal operations.  

Unfortunately, Delmar will not be responsible for any peripheral fees, such as and not limited to demurrage, storage, detention, and/or chassis fees, as a result of this unprecedented situation in the local Vancouver market.
