Notice of SIMA Preliminary Determinations: Wind Towers

Please be advised that effective July 20, 2023, provisional duties under the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) have been imposed on the importation of wind towers originated from China as per the following Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) link: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sima-lmsi/i-e/wt2023/wt2023-np-eng.html. 
 
These goods are being imported under HS codes 7308.20.00.00 and 8502.31.00.00, and the range of SIMA duties is from 97.6% to 193.8% based on the exporting company.
