NY/NJ Ports and Airports Impacted by Poor Air Quality from Canadian Wildfires

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have stopped operations and are closing the following terminals early at 3:00pm EDT due to poor air quality: APMT, MAHER, PNCT, GCT Bayonne and Columbia.

The FAA has lifted a ground stop in LaGuardia and Newark, but continues to slow traffic to and from the New York City area airports due to reduced visibility from wildfire smoke. 
 
We are actively monitoring the situation and are working diligently to reduce the effects on customer shipments. Our teams will keep you informed as new relevant information becomes available.
