Update – CBSA Strike Averted

Further to our previous notice concerning the potential for a CBSA strike, the Public Service Alliance of Canada has reached a deal with the federal government after working “around the clock”.  

As a result of this tentative agreement and subject to final ratification by membership, no strike or work action will take place by CBSA’s union members. Customs services into Canada will continue to function normally without interruption.
