Update – Rail Dwell Time at the Port of Halifax

Further to our previous notice, PSA Atlantic Hub has made notable progress in reducing the outstanding grounded rail footage at the Port of Halifax by 63%.  

Any new import rail containers arriving at PSA Halifax are now expected to be loaded onto rail within three (3) days, based on the current import rail ground counts. 

Expedited Rail Services (ERS) resumed on March 24, 2025, with rail fluidity fully restored at both PSA Halifax terminals. To request ERS, please contact Delmar by sending an email to [email protected] 72 business hours prior to vessel arrival.
